Program Information

There’s a good reason why they call some programs “bootcamps.” It’s an all-out effort to cram as much material into your brain as you can handle in the shortest amount of time before you march into “battle.” A hacker didn’t learn what he knows in a week, and defending against him won’t take you a week to learn, either.

Our faculty recognizes there is a lot of material you’ll need to absorb. It changes and updates constantly. That’s why our Cybersecurity training lasts two years. You’ll get the information you need at a comprehensible rate. And MCC’s hands-on curriculum enables you to use what you’ve learned in class right away.
After the courses, you will be awarded an Associate of Science. Find out more about this and other IT programs by contacting an academic adviser. Classes are offered through the Information Technology Department. All courses are offered on-campus and online.

Upon successful completion of the courses, you will be awarded an Associate Degree. If you wish to take the CompTIA Security+ certification examination, you may do so at the College’s Prometric Testing Center. MCC offers many other IT certification examinations at the Center. The Cybersecurity degree is articulated to Bellevue University, CAE (Center of Academic Excellence), Dakota State University, CAE, and Herzing University.
